Sean Swope of the Lewis County Washington Commissioners is bringing forth a resolution to make Lewis County a non sanctuary county. The county commissioners meeting is on Tuesday June 10th at 10am, people can go in person to speak against the resolution or appear in zoom to speak out too. Can you please get it out to the membership. I know the state of Washington passed  "Keep Washington Working Act" (RCW 10.93.160), which restricts local law enforcement's cooperation with federal immigration authorities. If you are in Washington and able to go in person please do to so show you are against removing our sanctuary status. We feel with this resolution it could do damage to immigrants and migrants rights in Lewis county as well as all over Washington state.
